Concord, NC
Description
CESI landscape architecture staff prepared and presented the annexation and rezoning request before the City of Concord City Council and the City Planning and Zoning Board for the 90-Acre retail development located at the intersection of Derita Road, Concord Mills Boulevard, and Christenbury Parkway. CESI transportation staff designed offsite road improvements including roadway geometrics for turn lanes and entrances, coordination and implementation of Traffic Impact Analysis with NCDOT and the City of Concord, preparation of roadway, traffic control, pavement marking and signing plans. Traffic signal design and modifications was done utilizing John Davenport Engineering. Our civil staff designed the stormwater master plan for 90 acres of commercial retail development along with site improvements including grading, curb and parking, storm drainage, public and private utilities, greenways, streetscapes, and signage plan. CESI also performed boundary and topographic survey for site design and roadway improvements.
