Description: This project consisted of surveys for design, right-of-way acquisition, and engineering design of 11,714 Lf of sidewalk extension. CESI prepared 40 maps for right-of-way purchase, including approximately 12 for condemnation. The surveys and design were performed to City of Charlotte ACAD standards. During the course of this project, CESI performed control surveys, topographic surveys, utility location surveys and property surveys. This project required coordination with various departments and utility companies during the design process. The majority of the projects were primarily located in single-family residential areas. In an effort to minimize the impact of the project on local property owners, CESI remained very involved in the public coordination of the project, while still providing maximum benefit and requested services to the city.
