Mecklenburg County
Description: In 1999 CESI worked with the USACE-Wilmington office to provide cross-sections at 200 locations for streams throughout Mecklenburg County, NC. We provided the GPS network, field cross-sections and office computations for reporting of our findings to Wilmington. We also coordinated with officials of Mecklenburg County, as this was a cooperative effort with them for improvement of their flood models. All information had to be prepared in accordance with USACE standards and specifications from field procedures to reporting procedures.
